As it is known, there are nearly 10,000 plant species in Turkey, and this number is near to the total number of plants on the European continent, which is 15 times greater in area than this country. Also, Turkey hosts approximately 3,200 indigenous plants, which are not found anywhere else in the world. In other words, approximately one in three plants in Turkey is not found in anywhere else. |
